New Jersey (May 8, 2007) -- Cliff Robertson
appears in “Spider-Man 3,” portraying “Uncle Ben” in
third installment of the immensely popular franchise.
On his performance, Mr. Robertson notes: “It is nice to
be resurrected, though briefly. It is more-than-nice
working with more-than-nice people. The people of Sony,
including the cast, and wonderful Director Sam Raimi,
made this brief stint in my long career a happy one."
Cliff Robertson, one of America’s foremost dramatic
actors, has been applauded on television, stage, and in
over seventy motion pictures. Mr. Robertson is also an
accomplished commercial pilot. He has been honored at
the U. S. Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Florida, and
has been enshrined in the National Aviation Hall of
Fame, in Dayton, Ohio.
